Andrew Bynum called his flagrant foul on Dallas’ J.J. Barea “terrible” and offered an extended apology – repeatedly – for what he did in the fourth quarter of Game 4. Bynum said: “I’m just glad he wasn’t seriously injured,” said Bynum, who said he realized the wrongness of what he did, including his removal of his jersey as he exited the court, once he saw the replay.
Odom says he’ll be starting in Artest’s place
Lamar Odom told reporters he would be the starting small forward in place of suspended Ron Artest against Dallas on Friday night. Odom said Thursday: “I haven’t played small forward in a couple years … but I’ll adjust and try to impact the game.”

An estimated 2,000 people converged at the Huntington Beach pier Tuesday to protest a state proposal to slash $750 million from programs that serve the developmentally disabled.
