TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The Physical Properties Committee of the University of Alabama System trustees unanimously recommended the construction of the $2.8 million "Champions Plaza" at its meetings today at the Bryant Conference Center. The plaza, which would be located next to Sewell-Thomas Stadium, will provide recognition for the University's athletic programs and also tiered seating for 600 next to the stadium.
